Noone else will be able to use this name.
Domain name registration is a separate fee from

We
also renew Domain names for only $14.99 per year.

name
and your domain name is up for renewal
(preferably a month or more in advance)
we can transfer the domain name
from the registrar Network Solutions
(or any other registrar like register.com)
to the register Tucows, Inc.
for only $14.99 per year.
An extra year is added on to the expiration date
so you do not loose any time.
We bill your credit card a fee of $14.99
to use the domain name for one year
If you wish us to transfer your registrar to Tucows, Inc
this will Not affect your web site or web hosting
